| RID Recognition
The requirements for Utah recognition of RID/NIC certification include:
Submit the National Certification form found on the Downloadable Forms page under "Maintenance/Recognition."
Submit the $35 recognition fee.
Submit a copy of your current certification card.
Maintain the requirements of the National certifying body.
A courtesy recognition reminder will be sent via email annually with instructions for renewal. Please remember: it is your responsibility to maintain your recognition annually. This includes keeping us informed of any name or email change. The Utah Interpreter Program is NOT responsible for material you may miss when you neglect to inform us of your updated email address.
Your name will appear as "Nationally Certified" on the Utah list of certified interpreters if these requirements are met each year.
